Why choose Holismos Yoga & Wellness

At Holismos Yoga & Wellness we believe in a Yoga that is rooted in the very history of this millenary art, remaining in line with the traditional teaching model, but at the same time making it accessible to all, modern, and useful to support each individual’s need for growth and evolution. In our training project, great care is taken to build a solid foundation through the study and knowledge of the eight branches of Classical Hatha Yoga, in order to offer an authentic base from which students can intelligently embark on a journey of creative investigation, in this constantly evolving world of modern Yoga. Our course is certified by the Yoga Alliance International Europe based in India. With this programme we offer the opportunity to embark on a meaningful journey of investigation into the world of Yoga, supplemented by aspects and knowledge from some of the most deeply rooted and widespread Eastern healing techniques. Our students learn to grasp the messages of the body through touch, guided in this journey by teachers, who in addition to being Yoga teachers, are also long-time practitioners in various healing disciplines. Through this mode of exploration, Holismos Teacher Training fosters a deeper understanding of Yoga in our students by facilitating a deeper investigation of the self.

The Course

Teaching of the basic principles of Hatha Yoga, including postures (asanas), meditation, breathing exercises (Pranayama), chanting, notions of philosophy and nutrition. Our course is open both to those who wish to lay the foundations for becoming a successful teacher, but also to those who wish to participate with the primary aim of deepening their knowledge of yoga.

Our teacher training course has the special feature of having an international team of teachers, each of whom comes from a different background, offering their own personal vision of classical Hatha Yoga. The diversity and comprehensiveness of the teachings, greatly enriches the students’ ability to see the same subject from different angles. We consider this aspect to be one of our strengths.

Our team has many years of international teaching experience. The exploration of the practice is offered in a way that honours and keeps the tradition pure, while at the same time stimulating curiosity and investigation, so as to make the practice realistic and relevant in an ever-changing world.  The course is taught in Italian as almost all staff members speak it fluently, otherwise a simultaneous translation is offered by the Holismos Centre.
