MEDITERRANEAN RETREATS CENTRE
The building, now completely transformed into a centre for yoga and the study of energy practices and healing, was originally a traditional Greek taverna and a small hotel.
It overlooks the Gulf of Kalloni, just a few meters from the sea, and is completely isolated, immersed in an exceptionally beautiful natural setting.
This area is a paradise for birdwatching enthusiasts, who, especially during the spring months, come to the island from all over the world to admire pink flamingos, white and black storks, peregrine falcons, and many other migratory birds of rare beauty. The gulf is an important breeding area for many fish species, making this stretch of sea teeming with life.
Its location, the natural context in which it is situated, the peace, the silence, and the power of the elements make it an ideal place to immerse oneself fully in the study and practice of various disciplines, leaving behind all the physical and emotional burdens that usually crowd our lives.

Giuseppina Gagliardi
I have been working for many years with human sciences such as biology, nutrition, natural therapies, and general well-being.
I am inspired to seek with others a way to improve both personal lives and that of the planet.
Yoga arrived in 2020 with practice in Italy and a brief period in India. In 2010, I began studying various yoga theories and disciplines, which I still continue. I graduated in Yogatherapy at Holismos and I am continuing my teacher training at Yoga Suite in Rome.
I have participated in specific seminars on yoga and the spine, use of chanting and voice in yoga, nutrition, and asanas.
I am specialized in Food Science and Nutri-Therapy. These are the foundations from which I begin, with the aim of building together a path of personal awareness and well-being.

In 2013, I began practicing Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga; in 2015, I graduated as a Hatha Yoga teacher from Three Treasure school by Molly Cofman, Virginia Wood, and Massimo Cantara.
I study every year with different teachers in India and Europe. I have a diploma as a Mindfulness Facilitator and became a yoga instructor for children and schools, promoting yoga in schools with a playful and non-competitive approach.
I collaborate with Manuela Tomba, a psychotherapist from Paris, teaching yoga at silent mindfulness retreats and MBCR and MBCT protocols.
Currently, I am studying Ayurvedic cooking.
