Vinyasa Yoga Course in Varese

Mondays from 20:15 to 21:30

Vinyasa Yoga Course in Varese focuses on a fluid and dynamic sequence of movements. The term ‘vinyasa’ describes the sequence of asanas that make up the central section of the Sun Salutation, consisting of Downward-Facing Dog Pose (Adho Mukha Svanasana), Four-Limbed Staff Pose (Chaturanga), Upward-Facing Dog Pose (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana), and returning to the initial posture.

In Vinyasa, this sequence is used as a transition between different asanas or as a simple form of warm-up. Krishnamacharya (1888-1989) developed this style, emphasizing the transition phase from one asana to another and perfecting the study of the moment of transition between positions, in harmony with specific breathing that promotes harmonic continuity.

Vinyasa Yoga in Varese: sustained and fluid rhythm

Vinyasa Yoga is characterized by a sustained rhythm and fluid movements that follow the breath, creating a sequence of interconnected asanas. Special attention is given to synchronizing breath with body movements, with inhalation guiding movements upward and exhalation downward.

Vinyasa Yoga Course in Varese: the benefits

This harmonious flow of breath and movement, combined with concentration on the practice, allows for an elevated level of awareness: breath control has a calming effect on the nervous system and purifies internal organs, blood vessels, and the lymphatic system.
The practice of Vinyasa Yoga, characterized by continuous fluid transitions from one posture to another, provides cardiovascular benefits and improves endurance, flexibility, and muscle strength, as well as reducing stress levels.
The dynamic and rhythmic sequence of positions makes it an excellent physical exercise, ideal for keeping the body in shape at every stage of life.
