Professional Shiatsu Course in Greece
The Shiatsu 1st level course programme
The training program to become a recognized Shiatsu practitioner is rigorous and adheres to the criteria, principles, and style inspired by the teachings of Master Shizuto Masunaga, ensuring each student a solid traditional foundation. However, it doesn’t neglect the most current and modern schools of thought in the field of Energy, providing a truly comprehensive vision and application.
The Holismos International School of Shiatsu introduces a new concept of training school that goes beyond conventional educational offerings, emphasizing a holistic knowledge while staying within the realm of the ancient art of Shiatsu.
In our school, the theoretical and practical study of Shiatsu is integrated with a good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and postural techniques; basic knowledge of biochemistry and nutrition; preparation in kinesiology; myofascial work techniques; and yoga therapy.
The professional Shiatsu practitioner course also integrates the theoretical and practical learning of Shiatsu with a substantial component of postural rebalancing, making the operator’s movement dynamic, fluid, and effective.

The Holismos International School of Shiatsu, active since 1996, has trained dozens of professional Shiatsu practitioners in Italy, Spain, Greece, and other European countries.
Our training program is in accordance with the main European associations and federations, and in recent years, we have elevated our school to a higher level by establishing an international training entity.
The Shiatsu
Zen Shiatsu (the term coined by Master Masunaga) can be defined as an Energetic Medicine that works directly with life force, promoting greater vitality, resilience, and adaptability.
Due to its characteristics, Zen Shiatsu is effective in maintaining and promoting health, as well as reducing symptoms such as back pain, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive disorders, asthma and other respiratory diseases, insomnia, menstrual pain, headaches, stress, anxiety, arthritis, joint pain, and much more. Today, Shiatsu is practiced everywhere, including hospitals, spas, wellness centers, protected facilities, prisons, etc.

The Holismos training course is conducted by an international team of Yoga teachers who, in addition to having many years of experience in teaching this discipline, also have varied professional backgrounds and different stories, bringing an added value to the training course to become Yoga instructors, presenting their own personal vision of classical Hatha Yoga.

Massimo Cantara
Graduated as a Yoga teacher from the international school SYM. Since 2010, he has been teaching at his own center in Italy. Founding member of "Three Treasures Yoga." In addition to the professional activity as a practitioner in Bio-Natural Disciplines and as a Shiatsu Teacher, in 1999, he founded the Holismos Center for health arts. Diploma in Cranio Sacral Balance, Kinesiologist, Shiatsu Practitioner.
Sara Della Torre
Shiatsu and Moxa practitioner at Hakusha with a diploma in the three-year master's program in Cranio Sacral Balance for Shiatsu practitioners, Vodder method Lymphatic Drainage massage, and first-level Reiki. Yoga teacher and member of the KINDER YOGA association, dedicated to promoting yoga for children with a playful and non-competitive approach. In addition to numerous certificates, she holds a diploma as a Mindfulness Educator.
